Oct. 14-15: St. Paul Parish in Austin will host its annual Fall Festival on the parish grounds. The two-day festival will run from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 1 to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Oct. 16: St. Mary Parish in Bremond will host its Fall Festival on the parish grounds. Barbecue Polish sausage and brisket ($12 per plate) will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The auction will begin at 1 p.m. Other activities include a variety of foods and games for all ages.

Oct. 23: St. Margaret Parish in Giddings will host its Fall Festival. A meal of pork steak and all the trimmings will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Live polka music will be played from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The live auction will begin at 2 p.m. There will be a country store booth and cake wheel and games for all ages. There will also be a cornhole tournament!
