April 2-6: Diocesan offices will be closed for the Triduum and Easter Monday.
April 3: The Schoenstatt Movement of Austin will host its annual Good Friday Pilgrimage. All are invited to gather at 7 a.m. at St. Mary Cathedral to walk the nine miles to the Schoenstatt Shrine. Stops will be made to pray the Stations of the Cross and the sacrament of reconciliation will be available along the way.

April 10-12: Retrouvaille of Austin will host a Couples Retreat at Wingate Hotel in Round Rock. This retreat is designed to help couples rediscover one another and build a loving marriage.

April 11: The annual diocesan Middle School Rally will be held at St. John Vianney Parish in Round Rock. This is an opportunity for youth in grades 6-8 from across the diocese to come together in a conference format for a fun-filled day of dynamic keynote presentations, prayer, fellowship and workshops that help them grow in faith.

April 14-16: Armor of God Catholic Radio will host their Spring 2026 Pledge Drive live from the St. Kolbe Studio. Each day from 8 to 11 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m. friends and family will share stories and experiences about how Catholic radio has a remarkable impact on their faith journey.

April 17-19: Single women between the ages of 18 and 35 are invited to The Heart of Mary: A Discernment Retreat for Women led by the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary. The retreat will include time for prayer, spiritual conferences on discernment and vocations, and opportunities to speak with other women discerning their vocation. The cost of the retreat is $35.

April 17-19: Married couples are invited to a Marriage Encounter Weekend at Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center. Catholic couples and a priest who are part of Worldwide Marriage Encounter will help couples take a new look at their marriage, priorities and lifestyle; learn simple, effective communication techniques; and rediscover their hopes and dreams.

April 19: Santa Barbara Parish in Austin will host its Spring Festival from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the parish grounds. Come and enjoy a day filled with delicious food, great music and wonderful community time.
April 21: A parent information session will be held at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic School in Austin. Parents are invited to learn more about this school.

April 25: All are invited to the diocesan Holy Hour for Vocations from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Helen Parish in Georgetown. The day will begin with breakfast, followed by presentations in English and Spanish and end with a Holy Hour praying for more vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

April 25: The Mercy of God Prayer Center will host an Ignatian Way to Discern God’s Will Day Retreat from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Life House on the campus of St. Thomas More Parish in Austin. Deacon Dan Lupo will present the Ignatian guidelines for discerning God’s will. Donation is $45.

April 25: The Indian Catholic Association will host Taste of India Fundraiser — An Evening of Union at 6 p.m. at the Dell JCC in Austin. All are invited to an evening inspired by the joy and traditions of an Indian wedding. Enjoy delicious cuisine, colorful cultural performances and a warm spirit of community.

April 26: St. Margaret Mary Parish in Cedar Park will host their annual Springfest from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the parish grounds. All are invited to join the fun with games for all ages, a variety of foods, live music and more!

May 2: All are invited to make a pilgrimage to the Marian Shrine of Our Lady of Schoenstatt and pray the rosary by candlelight at 7:30 p.m. The rosary will include meditations and songs, and it will end with a short candlelight procession. Afterwards there will be refreshments and social time.
May 3: The Georgetown Life Chain event will be held on Williams Drive across from the Crestview Baptist Church. Registration begins at 3 p.m. and supporters will stand for one hour to support the life of the unborn. Everyone is welcome — families, parishes, youth groups and all community members. Water and pro-life signs will be provided.
May 16: Bishop Daniel Garcia will ordain W. Luke Parlow and Livinus Idag to the transitional diaconate at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Austin. God willing, these men will be ordained to the priesthood in 2027.
May 20-22: Men between the ages of 18 and 49 are invited to the Heart of Jesus Retreat at Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center in Temple. This retreat is designed to help young men discern their vocation. It is an opportunity to meet many priests, hear their discernment stories and learn about the priesthood. The cost of the retreat is $35.
