June 7: Father Kevin Rai leads Marian Mornings on first Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Elizabeth Parish in Pflugerville. The morning includes Mass, a teaching, prayer time, silence and time for the sacrament of reconciliation.
June 7: St. John Neumann Parish in Austin hosts a Mass for Vocations followed by a Holy Hour for Vocations at 8:45 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month.
June 7: St. Mary Church of the Assumption in Waco hosts a Mass and Holy Hour for Vocations on the first Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. All are welcome!
June 7: The Gift of Peace Day Retreat will be held at Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center in Temple. This is an opportunity to journey with others toward greater peace in their lives.

June 14: Join Father Greg Gerhart for The Call, before and after the June ordination, to learn about the priesthood by reflecting on the promises that the priest makes. Participants will be offered breakfast, lunch and a saved spot at the ordination Mass, and they will hear from current seminarians. This event is open to single men, ages 14-49, and it is free.

June 14: Deacons Scott Fyall, Michael Noriega, Kingsley Ohaeri, Michael Rhodes and Ladd Spears will be ordained to the priesthood at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Austin.

June 15: Holy Qurbono (holy Mass) in the Syro-Malankara Catholic Rite is celebrated every third Sunday of the month at the chapel of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Pflugerville at 3:30 p.m. The celebrant of the Mass is Father Saji Lukose, associate pastor of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish.
June 26-28: St. Albert the Great Parish in Austin will hold eucharistic adoration for 40 hours around the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Beginning on Thursday June 26 at 8 p.m. and ending on June 28 at noon all are invited to pray for an increase of vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place in the Adoration Chapel at the parish.
July 4: Diocesan offices will be closed for Independence Day.
July 25-27: The Life-Giving Wounds retreat will be held at Cedarbrake Catholic Retreat Center in Temple.
It is for young adults and adults with divorced or separated parents. It invites participants to move through the broken image of love that appeared to them in their parents’ relationship to their deepest identity found in God. This retreat has something for any adult child of divorce or separation, no matter how much healing you have already received or need.

July 26: RED-C Apostolate will host a Family Retreat at St. Louis Parish in Waco. This year’s theme is “Hope for the Family, Hope in Christ.” This day of spiritual renewal begins with adoration and confession, followed by talks and fun-filled family activities. Lunch will be provided. The retreat will wrap up with Mass at 5 p.m. The cost is $50 per family.

July 19: Praying with Voice, Mind, Heart, a day retreat, will be offered by the Mercy of God Prayer Center from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Brennan Auditorium at St. Thomas More Parish in Austin. Deacon Dan Lupo will lead participants as they engage in various forms of prayer.

July 19: The Austin North, South and Central Deaneries of the Council of Catholic Women will meet at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Lago Vista. A program about how one gives and receives love will be presented.
